Lightning screeches through the sky like a fighting cat.I wonder why I am out here, with my best friend on the football field of our school."Let's try to get inside somewhere,"I yell over the rain. Becca turns her head toward me."Okay. Let's go to the Library." I nodded, even though the rain is falling in such sheets she can't see me.Seconds later, I am desperately trying to get into the school Library.Becca is using all her power to open the door, even though she knows it's locked.I am just looking around, trying to see somebody that would have the keys- a janitor, maybe?Instead of seeing a janitor, I point out a strange sight to Becca. Becca peers over my shoulder and says,"That doesn't look good."I don't ask her if we should go check it out or not- I just bound off in the direction of behind the Gym.Now I'm here, and are beyond terrifiend. I run towards who is being taken prisioner and scream,"Averie? Is that you?"One answer comes back- a choked "yes".I climb up onto the sone wall and growl,"Whoever you are, let her go!" I wait for a replay. A sly voice, almost inhuman, answers."You cross this line, you'll be a hostage too." He shuffles his feet near a gold smeared line."We don't care," shreeches Becca. "We are going to get Averie out, even if it means us be hostages too!"Thunder rolls through the sky. At this moment, I take the chance and scream something they need to hear.
"I'M GONNA CROSS THAT LINE!"
I cross the line, running towards Averie and scratching, clawing, biting them all the time I run.A strong hand clutches my shoulder. It feels strangely familiar, as though it has happened before."Follow us," a deep voice says.Lightning illuminates the face of who is holding me, and I am petrified in terror when I realize who it is.
~Flashback~
The person that was holding me yelled, "I've got her! Hurry, she's getting away!"
They thought I would give up. NEVER! I would never give up, for who am I fighting for?
Myself?
no, the army of the Lord God Almighty.Who fights for Him will never be defeated, perhaps physically, but mentally they are still fighting.
Another one of his comrades came in. He turned around.
This was a chance!
I broke free, but I knew I was n0t in victory yet- perhaps far from it.
I ran in the MAZE, knowing that if she was still trapped it was my fault.
A hand caught my shoulder. I looked up. "Follow us," a deep voice said.
"Never," I growled and snapped my strong jaws at his hand.
He let go.
My chance! My freedom was rebuilt. I then let it all out, just as I am letting out my feelings in this piece of writing.
"VICTORIA!"

I just realized that its all happening over again- whatever happened at the MAZE is now rebuilt in this moment, and I have to stop it.I rip through Averie's guards and scream at her, "Go! Run! Don't come back for me, just RUN!"She blinks, and I don't know wether it was in shock or pain. But I keep on fighting and fighting, never missing a second of it, never skipping a beat.Suddenly one of yells out in pain, "Stop! Stop! We surrender.""Oh, no you don't!" I yowl out. "I won't let you. It won't happen."Everyone is staring at me in shock, but I don't care. "Do you remember the MAZE? What youdid to me?"He looks up at me.''That was different."Rage roars through my body."No, it actually WASN'T. So guess what? I'm gonna leave you here, and I know you haterevenge. Well, this is revenge."I leap off the stone walkway and head for home.Sometimes I still think of that, and how it actually turned out.But I most remember that moment that I yelled out.
"I'M GONNA CROSS THAT LINE!"
